How target-size compression works
The tool reads the video duration, computes the exact bitrate that fits your target size, and re-encodes to H.264 MP4 with capped resolution and 30 fps. If the first pass lands over the target, a corrected second pass runs automatically. Everything happens on your device — a 100 MB video is never uploaded anywhere.
Platform size limits
- Discord: 10 MB without Nitro (500 MB with Nitro).
- Email: 25 MB total attachments on Gmail and Outlook.
- WhatsApp: 16 MB for videos in many regions.
- Slack free plan: 1 GB, but small files send far faster.
