Why convert RAW in the browser?

Camera RAW files contain unprocessed sensor data — great for editing but unreadable by most apps and websites. This tool uses libraw-wasm to demosaic and white-balance your RAW locally, then exports a JPEG up to 2048 px wide for quick sharing or previewing without Lightroom or Capture One.

Supported cameras

Canon (CR2/CR3), Nikon (NEF), Sony (ARW), Adobe DNG, Fujifilm (RAF), Panasonic (RW2), Olympus (ORF), Pentax (PEF), and Samsung (SRW) are supported via LibRaw.

Common questions

Is this as good as Lightroom?

Browser decoding uses camera white balance and basic demosaicing. For professional edits, use a desktop RAW processor — this tool is for quick previews and sharing.

Why is conversion slow?

RAW files are large and demosaicing is CPU-intensive. The first run also loads the libraw WebAssembly module (~2 MB).
