What is a Motion Photo?
Motion Photos are the Android equivalent of iPhone Live Photos. Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Xiaomi, and OnePlus phones save a short video clip inside the JPG file itself. Outside the phone gallery the file behaves like a normal photo, and the motion part becomes invisible — this tool splits the file back into its two components so you can share the video anywhere.
How to extract
- Choose the original Motion Photo JPG (from the phone gallery, not a chat app).
- Click Extract — the browser locates the embedded MP4 inside the JPG.
- Preview both parts, then download the still JPG and the MP4 video.
